Obituary: Floyd Ray boutwell, formerly of 3520 11th. Street, Meridian-died suddenly Thursday in Jennings, La., where he had been living with his daughter for the past eighteen months. He was a Baptist, a retired Illinois Central Railroad conductor and a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. Survivors are the daughter Mrs. Gomer Rees, Elton, La., a son Robert Boutwell, Meridian, seven grandchildren, one sister Jessie Abernathy, Lauderdale county, Miss., and two brothers: W.B. Boutwell, Lauderdale county and Elmo Boutwell, Memphis, Tenn.
Services will be Saturday at 11:00AM. in the Webb Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Bob Simmons officiation and burieal will be in the Magnolia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Doc. McKinley, R.C. Evans, W.T.Parker, J.r. Freeman, Dewey Kinard, Lester Sims and F.F. Corn. Honorary pallbearers will be all friends and family.
