Mary Amelia (Polly)Honeycutt was the daughter of James Honeycutt and Elizabeth Barthena Cobb. She was one of 12 children. This family lived in Autauga, Bibb and Chilton Counties Alabama (as county lines were redrawn and renamed).
She married Benjamin F. Collier about 1845. They were in Lauderdale County, MS by 1850. In 1860 and 1870 they were in Sumter County, AL and in 1880 they are back in Lauderdale County, MS.
They were the parents of 8 children.
Notice this dear lady lived to be 100 years old.
Mary's brother Riley Monroe Honeycutt of Jemison, Alabama traveled to Kewanee, MS in January of 1929 to preach a sermon honoring Mary's 100th birthday.
