Second of 10 children of John Carrol and Lucinda Darnell Holloway, Curt farmed in Jefferson Co. & then near Akin in Franklin Co. Curt was 6' 4" and weighed about 150 pounds.
Other siblings spelled the last name HOLLOWAY.

He married Eliza Janetta Dare on Dec. 24, 1891 in Mt.Vernon, Jefferson Co. They had 9 children: a girl, seven boys and another girl.

Curt and Eliza lived last years of life in a duplex in Chester, IL shared with son Dalton & Minnie Lee Hollaway.
