Mary MALCOM Albert was the daughter of Joseph MALCOM and Rachel TATE Malcom. As a young girl, Mary came to Marion County, Illinois, with her parents. The Malcom family is recognized as an early pioneer family of Marion County, Illinois.
At the age of sixteen years of age, Mary MALCOM was married to Simon ALBERT (1818-1857) on 22 August 1841, in Marion County, Illinois.
They were the parents of eight children as follows:

3. Maria Emily ALBERT Davis
4. Joseph Eli ALBERT
5. Lewis Levi ALBERT (died in early childhood)
6. William Andrew ALBERT
7. Martha Ellen ALBERT Craig
8. Simon Allen ALBERT
After the death of her husband, Simon ALBERT, Mary MALCOM Albert continued to live in rural Marion County, Illinois, as she continued to raise her children left behind after the passing of her husband.
Mary MALCOM Albert died on 25 March 1896, in Marion County, Illinois.
She was buried in historic Mount Moriah Cemetery.
