"David Adams died at his home near Bethany, in Washington township, Monday morning, after a week's illness of inflammation of the bowels. He was 50 years of age and a member of the Bethany church, serving as elder for nearly twenty years.
He was also a member of the Eighty-fifth Indiana Infantry. He leaves a wife and two sons." - Rockville Tribune, March 23, 1893, Page 8
He is the son of Harvey Nelson Adams and Phebe Mary Perry. His wife's name was Elizabeth and his two sons were Claude C. and Frank H.
