Friday, February 27th, 2004 - MAYO, ROBERT JOHN "BOB" - Robert John "Bob" Mayo, formerly of West Harrison, NY, died suddenly on February 23, 2004, in Basel, Switzerland while on a European performance tour. Bob was born August 25, 1951 in NYC. He and his sister, Mary Jo, were raised in Westchester County, the children of Nicholas and Felicia Mayo. Bob was a musical prodigy, who moved seamlessly from his educational career at Iona Prep and Iona College to a musical career of international renown.
