Salt Lake City - Funeral services for Ada Percinda Hokason Farnworth, 77, of 1992 S. 200 E., Salt Lake City, who died of causes incident to age Saturday, June 26, 1976 in a Salt Lake City hospital, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Brighton LDS Ward Chapel, 1401 W. 700 S.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 W. (sic - should be So.) Redwood Rd., and at the ward chapel Wednesday one hour before the services. Burial will be in Redwood Memorial Estates.
She was the mother of Mrs. Dean K. (Vivian) Long, Orem, and Mrs. Kenneth L. (Vera) Mitchell, Provo.
Mrs. Farnworth was born Sept. 24, 1898 in Hyrum, Cache County, to Pehr and Mary Christina Jensen Hokason. She married Vernon Farnworth on Oct. 3, 1917 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She was a seamstress at Deseret Industries and held many positions in the LDS Church.
She is survived by her husband; three sons and four daughters, Kenneth LeRoy Farnworth, Leonard Cleone Farnworth and Darrell Herbert Farnworth, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Dean K. (Vivian) Long, Orem; Mrs. V. Naris (Lillian) Dees, Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Kenneth L. (Vera) Mitchell, Provo; Mrs. David (Fay) Bean, Granger; 43 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Evelyn Johanson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Joseph (Cora) Christman, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Eulalie Gatterer, San Leandro, Calif., and Rachel Tuckfield, Bountiful.
