Services for Gerald Wayne Flanagin, 72, Brady, father of a Tyler resident, are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home chapel, Brady, with Rusty Kwast officiating.

Burial will be in Wagram Cemetery.

Mr. Flanagin died April 29 in Brady.

He was born May 19, 1926, in Fredonia to Frank and Ora Mae Cate Flanagin. He served in the Army during World War II, retired from the Postal Service and was a member of Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Billing Morgan Flanagin, Brady; sons, Michael Flanagin, Huntsville, Clifton Stockbridge, San Angelo, and Tommy Flanagin, Brady; daughter, Janice Dipprey, Tyler; mother, Ora Mae Flanagin, Brady; sisters, Norma Jean Holloway and Lannelle Cook, both of Brady; brother, J.D. Flanagin, Brownwood; 10 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 5:30 – 7:30 PM Friday at funeral home.
