Lucretia Milton Longshore Hilton was a sister of Sarah Frances Longshore Nichols, 62168266. They were daughters of Milton W. Longshore and Rebecca L. Senn. Milton was killed during the Civil War at the Battle of the Crater in Petersburg, VA. Lucretia was named for her father, Lucretia Milton Longshore. She was born and died in Newberry County, SC.

Lucretia married twice:

1st) abt. 1880 to John Levi Butler, son of Daniel Mangum Butler, 29699035, and Sarah Davenport Butler, 29699080. John died aft. 1892 in Arkansas. He and Lucretia had 4 children: Sarah Rebecca, Leila Daisy, James Chester, and John Sampson Butler.
2nd) abt. 1895 to John E. Hilton
