Services for Emma Ruth Bartsch of Grass Valley will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Grass Valley United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Camptonville Cemetery in Camptonville.
Mrs. Bartsch died Thursday, June 5, in Grass Valley. She was 91.
She was born Oct. 9, 1911, in Beatrice, Neb., to Royal and Sylvia Child. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed oil painting and working in her flower garden.
She is survived by her daughters Laverna Beck of Arizona and Sandra Rogers of Sacramento; sons Donald Crawford of Olivehurst and Richard Crawford of Bangor; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Tommy Bartsch, in 2002.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
