Funeral Services Held for Frank Connelly
Last rites for Frank H Connelly, 72, local real estate and insurance man, who was also well known here in musical circles, were conducted Monday by Rev. J. R. Elsom and Rev. Gross Alexander at the chapel of Stephens and Bean.
A male quartet composed of Dr. C. C. Williams, Jean Vincenz, Rainey LaRue and L. B. Mallory sang. The pallbearers were Ernest Wingate, N. E. Carnine, F. L. Chapman, Charles Chess, Hayden Jones and Ira Temple. Burial was in Belmont Memorial Park.
Born in Chautauqua County, New York, Connelly was graduated from Rochester, New York University. After practicing law and serving as city judge in Osage City, Kansas, he came to Fresno twenty-six years ago. For many years he was an active member of the First Baptist Church and conducted the choir for nine years. He was a charter member of the Fresno Male Chorus.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Eloise P. Connelly of 825 Peranta Way, he leaves two nephews, Lucas Gleason of Clymer, N.Y. and Kark Gleason of Ridgeway, N.J.
