Mr. Hamilton died Saturday, Jan. 16, in a Lampasas nursing home.
He was born on Feb. 22, 1937, to Leroy and Nattie Mae Minton Hamilton in Burnet County. He was a lifelong resident of the area and had worked for Fulton Brown for many years and later for Burke Brown at the feed store. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lampasas.
Survivors include a daughter, Theresa Greenberg of Lampasas; three brothers, Nathan Hamilton of Lampasas, Marvin Hamilton of Kempner and Donald Hamilton of Denver; a sister, Juanita Fay Carroll of Lampasas; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the Bethel Cemetery Association.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
