Years ago he joined the Baptist Church and lived up to its faith. He has resided in this county for many years and had made many friends during his residence here.
Funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle before a large crowd who paid their tribute of respect to the esteemed old gentleman. Interment followed at Little Prairie cemetery.
He is survived by three sons, George, Eph and Claud Brown, all of McCarty, and three daughters, Mrs. Ray Humphrey, who is in a sanatarium at St. Louis, Mrs. Laurence Bullington of McCarty, and Mrs. George Doyle of this city.
