Rites Are Set for Pioneer of Wetumka
WETUMKA March 13, 1956 - Services for Mrs. Marinda Anderson, 79, who died Monday afternoon, will be held at 2 P. M. Wednesday at the Wetumka Church of Christ.
Leo Richardson will officiate. Burial will be in Wetumka Cemetery with Spiller Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Born March 25, 1876 in Missouri, she had lived in the Wetumka area since 1898.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Arka Stoner, Checotah; Mrs. Florence Groves, Sacramento, California; Mrs. Pearl Hanaway, Morris, Oklahoma; Mrs. Victoria smith, Wetumka; Mrs. Lara dell Modesto, California; a son, Lawrence Anderson, Wetumka; One sister, Mrs. Newt Lane, Holdenville; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grand children.
Bearers will be Irving Banta, Grant Herring, Reed Rogers, Mitchell Brown, Herb Lockhart and Floyd Phipps.
