Mrs. R.A. Williams, a longtime resident of the Loco and Wellington area died in Collingsworth General Hospital, at 3:15 a.m., Sunday, January 28, after a lengthy illness. She was 79 years of age. Mrs. Williams came with her husband and young children to the Loco Community in 1924, from Grayson County. Through the years, she devoted herself to her family and to helping her husband in his extensive farming operations. They moved to Wellington a number of years ago and the family home was at Wellington. Born Bertha B. Roller on September 10, 1893, in the Indian Territory, she was the daughter of Hiram and Nancy Euny Reynolds Roller. She was married to Rufus A. Williams October 19, 1912, at Coweta, Oklahoma, Mrs. Williams was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving Mrs. Williams are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. C.L. Morris of Flagstaff, Arizona; Mrs. Roy Snyder of Shamrock and Mrs. Ray Wooldridge of Pampa; four sons, W.T. Williams of Abilene, Austin Williams of Borger, James M. Williams of Pasadena; and R.A. Williams, Jr., of White Deer. There are 29 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
