George Diller was a popular insurance agent in Como.
He was the son of Charles M. Diller and Cora Ellen Turner Diller (Peabody when she died). His parents divorced by 1910. Some records have George's date of birth as 1893---in Denver.
One source has George's place of death as Monte Cristo Mine, Summit County, due to influenza and pneumonia. Other sources have his death location at Como. On 25 May 1918 the SUMMIT COUNTY JOURNAL in Breckenridge wrote that "Mrs. George Diller of the Upper Blue, left for Como last Monday."
George's sister, Blythe Vashtie Diller (28 Dec 1890 - Nov 1969) married Thomas Jones, grandson of Charles H. Jones, buried in Como Cemetery. Blythe died in Canyon City, Fremont County, Colorado.
