JAMES F. CALL
Jim Call, age 60, died July 1, 2007.
He was born in Painesville, Ohio, on Sept. 27, 1946, to Francis James Call and Marjorie Irene Call.
Jim moved to Trinity County after receiving an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army in 1972 after serving six years in Vietnam.
He received his general contractor's license in the mid ‘70s. He had worked for many people throughout Trinity County over the past 30 years and made many friends. He was a very giving man and a wonderful and caring husband. He enjoyed hunting and loved to fish. His family will always love and remember him.
He leaves behind his life's companion, Shirley Murray of Weaverville; children, Jim Call and Carrie Call of Southern California; step-daughters, Ronnette Murray of Weaverville and Tina Litts and son-in-law Don Litts of Antelope; grandchildren, Austin, Brody and Cody of Douglas City and James of Antelope; mother, Marjorie Call; and sisters, Linda Crabtree, Judy Romaine and Jan Call, all of the Yuba City/Marysville area.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frances Call.
Graveside services will be held July 6 at 11 a.m. at the Weaverville cemetery.
