Dr. Perry Lee Bolsinger was born in Johnstown, Cambria Co., PA to the parents of Perry Commodore and Nancy McMillen Bolsinger on 3 May 1876. He was educated in the local Johnstown schools and later enrolled as a medical student at the Hahnemann Homeopathic College in Philidelphia, PA, graduating in 1900. After graduating he established his practice at 535 Locust street in Johnstown. Dr. Bolsinger was a member of the First Lutheran Church, having been confirmed by the Rev. Dr. William Alfred Shipman. Dr. Bolsinger passed away 21 March 1916 at the Hahnemann Homeopathic Hospital in Philidelphia. His sister Bertha and her husband William Cooke were at his side when he passed away. They brought his body back to Johnstown and he was buried in the Bolsinger family plot at the Grandview Cemetery, Johstown.
