Born in Laurens County, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Gertrude Colvard Holbert. Mrs. Hamilton was a former employee of the Laurens Memorial Home for the Aged and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Neely E. Hamilton of the home; son, Neely E. Hamilton, Jr. and wife, Angel of Spartanburg; three daughters, Toni H. Quattlebaum and husband Todd of Callison; Lynn H. Craig and husband, David of Waterloo, and Heather H. Cox of Laurens; two brothers, Carzell Holbert of Clinton and Dallas Holbert of Laurens; and five grandchildren, Hunter, Areal, Matthew, Gabriel and Jaden.
