Margaret "Bettye" Bostwick, passed away on March 3, 2013 at Central Wyoming Hospice.

She was born on October 17, 1923 in Toledo, Ohio to the parents of Margaret and Edmund Brooks.

After attending the University of Toledo, she moved to Chicago Illinois where she met Richard "Dick" Bostwick. They were married in 1944 and were married for 69 years. They moved to Casper, where she was involved with swimming, skiing, tennis and golf. Having grown up on the shores of Lake Erie and her love of water, carried over in helping to get the community swim program started in Casper. She loved to dance and help form two dance clubs that are still dancing. Throughout her years in Casper, she quietly volunteered her time taking care of friends and her favorite causes. Forever the homemaker, her passion for cooking carried her through her short illness, asking us what we were going to have for dinner every night. After raising the kids, she and Dick spent many winters in Arizona.

She is survived by her four children, Mike of San Diego, CA. Patty of Casper, Ed (Melody) of Seattle, WA. and Dick, of Casper, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
