Lela May Cook was married at the Eagle Lodge in Tenino, WA to Harold Sylvester Hamilton. He worked as a Savings & Loan officer at Mountain View Savings & Loan bank in San Jose, CA till he retired early due to illness. He died of Leukemia. He left behind his wife & 4 children, and a brother, Wilburn Lee Cook(Lois Furlong). As a widow, Lela married A.L. Simon in Olympia, WA who had custody of 3 children from a previous marriage. Together they raised 7 children. Lela was a medical assist. for Dr. O'leary & Davis & Dr. Krug.She was a member of a AAMA, and worked at St. Peters Hospital as a Data Entry Operator in Olympia,WA. A.L. Simon was a fuel & Oil truck driver for Shell & Arco fuel Co. He is still living and retired. Lela passed away from cancer with her family near her bedside. Passing ahead of her were her parents, Dewey Wilburn Cook & Anna Mae (Hollandsworth)Cook.
