Jackson McClellan Irick died suddenly at his home Tuesday morning at 4:30 a.m. He was born July 24, 1861 to Alexander F. and Elizabeth Kiggins Irick. He was 86 years, 7 months, 10 days of age. On August 14, 1884 he married Lousa Hoffman who survives. Mr. Irick was retired.
Surviving in addition to his wife are 3 daughters, Mrs. Thomas Connolly, Delphos, and Mrs. Rex Mallin, Frankfort, IN, and 3 sons, Charles M. Irick, Hobnart, IN, Alexander F Irick, Mercer County, and Clarence F. Irick Marion, Ohio, 6 grandchildren andd 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Harter & Son Funeral Hme. The Rev. L. J. Rhodeback will be in charge. Burial will be made in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
