Flora Maria was a beautiful girl descended from the Silver People, the Panamanian West Indian people whose ancestors were in large part responsible for building the Panama Railroad and the Panama Canal. She was a mixed race child of a Chinese father and a part West Indian and Chinese mother. She is survived by an only son and grandchildren.
