Leo Amos Blair, 63, 2681 Madison, Died Monday at St. Benedict's Hospital. Mr. Blair was born Jan. 4, 1898, in Woods Cross, Utah, a son of Amos Chase and Francis Hogan Blair. He came to Ogden in 1923. On Aug. 5, 1922, he married to Myrtle H. Christensen in Salt Lake City. They received endowments in the Salt Lake Temple Sept. 14, 1922. He was a locomotive engineer for the Ogden Union Railway & Depot Co. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, Union Pacific Old Timers Club and was an elder in the Eighteenth Ward. He was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his widow, one son, Berdell Leo Blair, Layton; two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie B. Lorence, Layton, and Mrs. Neslin (Geraldine) Bangerter, Centerville; 25 grandchildren, six brothers, Edward Blair, North Salt Lake; Thornton Blair, Salt Lake City; Frank, Robert, Carl and Gerald Blair, all of Sunset; three sisters, Mrs. Dorp Polkins, Mrs. Ida Brown and Mrs. Eloise Poulsen, all of Bountiful. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop John Grandell of the Eighteenth Ward Conducting. Friends may call at the mortuary Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday prior to services.
