Ralph, a Vietnam Veteran, enlisted into the USMC in February of 1968 and proudly served his country. Ralph took pleasure in the simple things in life, made a living working construction, and enjoyed being outdoors. He lived with the love of his life, Ruby, until her passing in March of 2013. Ralph then took residence with his family, Bob and Olivia Newland where he passed peacefully.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015 in VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VFW Post 5451, 400 N. Main St., Urbana, Ohio 43078 to help with the completion of the D.A.V Hall. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.vernonfh.com.
