Isaac was a farmer and the 1850 Agricultural Census for Indiana, Jefferson County, Lancaster Township shows:
Isaac Coryea, 30 improved acres and 20 unimproved acres, cash value of land $500, value of farming implements and machinery $50, 2 horses, 3 Milch cows, 10 sheep, 5 swine, value of livestock $142, 30 bushels of wheat, 200 bushels of Indian corn, 20 bushels of oats, 30 pounds of wool, 10 bushels of Irish potatoes, 4 bushels of sweet potatoes, 50 pounds of butter, 2 tons of hay, value of home made manufactures $19, value of animals slaughtered $30.

Three wills from Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, show the connection between Isaac and his father, Philip.
1. Will of John Corya, dated 1825. Mentions brother Philip, brother Adam, heirs of brother Henry, sister Mary. Mentions Henry, oldest son of brother Philip, wife Margaret. Henry Edeburn a witness.
2. Will of Henry Corya, dated 1826. Mentions son Henry, son Philip, son Adam, daughter Mary. Son John is already dead. One daughter and wife already dead.
3. The will of Adam Corya, dated 1847, makes provision for some relatives nearby, but if they die without heirs, his estate is to be sold and sent to Jefferson County, Indiana to James Adam and Isaac W. Corya.

Son Henry had moved to Virginia and died there probably before 1825 (John's will). Philip had moved to Indiana and was the "father" of all the Indiana Corya family members.

Mercer County PA court documents mention Henry, heir of Sarah Corya in relation to some property of Edeburn family. John's will names Henry as oldest son of brother Philip. We think it likely that Henry, heir of Sarah Corya, received an inheritance of some kind and stayed in Mercer County. This indicates Philip was married to Sarah Edeburn before he married Sarah Hall, who was his wife in Indiana.

Isaac Walter Keryea and Zerelda Jane Stratton were married 9 May 1837 in Jennings County, Indiana.
