The Fairbury Journal-August 29, 1946
Frank L. Huffman of Fairbury, Nebr., passed away Friday, August 23, 1946 at the Veteran's hospital in Lincoln, Nebr., after an illness of more than four years. He had reached the age of 53 years, 10 months and 15 days.
Frank L. Huffman was born October 8, 1892 at Reynolds, Nebr., the son of James and Sally Huffman. He was a veteran of World war I, being a member of the 89th division and served overseas for 18 months.
On September 26, 1937 he married Miss Eleanor Mae Fishell at Fairbury, Nebr., and to them were born two children, Leo and Lois. He had been a resident of Fairbury since 1920.
Surviving are his wife and two children, Leo and Lois of Fairbury; two brothers, John of Fairbury and Bert of Clark, South Dakota, and one sister, Mrs. Earl Sherman of Venice, Calif.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Traum's Funeral Home with Rev. F. H. Stephenson, pastor of the Christian church, officiating. Mrs. Don Vestal sang accompanied by Miss Lodema West. Burial in the Reynolds cemetery.
