Connie Riggs, 77, of Caruthersville, died Feb. 25, 1991 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital. Born March 20, 1913 in Parsons, Tenn., he was the son of Frank and Julia Western Riggs. He attended schools in Tennessee and was employed at MFA Grain Elevator at Caruthersville for over 30 years before retiring. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucille Bruton Riggs of Caruthersville:
One son, Wilky Riggs of Jackson, Tenn.;
One daughter, Mrs. Lonnie Mae Drum of Indianapolis;
And four grandchildren, Shawn and Jason Riggs and Robert K. and Scott A. Drum.
Services were Feb. 27 at 11 am H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Caruthersville, Jimmy Colvett officiating, with burial in Maple Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jerry Johnson, Robert Drum, Doug Graham, James Ferrell and Jason and Shawn Riggs.
