Gilberta (Bertie) Willis retired teller at Credit Union of America, passed away January 22, 2009. Visitation with family present 5-7:00pm, Saturday and 2-4:00pm, Sunday both at Broadway Mortuary. Funeral service 10:30am, Monday, Bethany United Methodist Church, 1601 S. Main. Preceded in death by son, Brad E. Willis; father, Robert Gray, Jr.; mother, Ruth B. Murphy and brother, Bob Gray. Survivors include: husband and best friend of 55 years, Harry Willis; daughters, Sherri Luthe and Karen (Scott) Williams; grandchildren, Brad and Matthew Luthe, Melissa and Shawn Williams, all of Wichita; brothers, Gene (Jeanie) Gray of Castle Rock, CO, Bobby (De Lana) Gray of Longview, TX; sister, Jamie Allen of Point Blank, TX; sister-in-law, Jo Ellen Gray of Broken Arrow, OK and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank all the family and friends, as well as the Credit Union of America for all their love, concern and support during her illness. Bertie was a wonderful woman, the thing most that I remember was her smile. Her smile covered her whole face. No one loved their family more than dear Bertie. I count myself lucky to have known her and been a part of her family. Her fight is over, the battle won, a joyous reunion in heaven in the arms of those gone to prepare the way.
