Indianola – Beloved son and brother, Jason Lee Knowles, age 34, was brought home to God's loving arms Sunday, October 28, 2007 in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th St., with burial to follow at Webb Cemetery in Spring Hill, Iowa.

Jason will be remembered for his beautiful smile, free spirit, his gentle and compassionate heart and his love for the outdoors with the freedom it offered. Jason had a genuine concern for anyone in need – especially the homeless, both people and animals. He dearly loved and was loved in return by his nephews and niece – Christian, Caleb and Caitlyn Lucht.

He leaves behind his parents, Bob Knowles and Chris and Larry Chapman; sister and brother-in-law, Melody and Chad Lucht; grandmothers, Mary Knowles, Rose Marie Johnson and Eloise Olds; girl friend, Wanda and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He will be greatly missed by those who were blessed to have known him.

The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the United Churches Homeless Shelter.
