DANIEL ASTON, 73, CITY FIRE RETIREE
Daniel J. "Jack" Aston, 73, of 260 Pheasant Ridge, died Tuesday afternoon at Lancaster General Hospital after a long illness.
He was the husband of Jennie T. Evans Aston. They marked their 48th wedding anniversary in September.
Born in Lancaster, he was a son of the late Isaac D. and Laura Tammany Aston.
He retired in 1982 as a lieutenant for the Lancaster City Fire Department after 27 years of service.
