C. Williard (Bill) Aument, 142 Hershey Ave., died at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital after a long illness. He was 56. Aument retired in 1971 from the rotary department of Armstrong Cork Co. after 34 years. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Pequea Boat Club, Millersville VFW Post 7294 and Sportsman's Farm in Mount Nebo. Born in Manor Twp., son of the late Effie Brenneman and Landis M. Aument, he lived all his life in Lancaster County. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Lawrence, Lancaster, and Anna, wife of George Hess, Conestoga R1. (Lancaster New Era - Nov 8, 1973)
