Lois Mae Bateman, 80, of Junction City, a former longtime Baker City resident, died Jan. 13, 2005, at her home.

At her request, there will be no funeral.

Lois was born on July 1, 1924, at Monument. She moved to Richland when she was a small girl and had moved to Junction City from Baker City about 25 years ago.

She enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and any kind of puzzles. She was a loving mother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; her parents, Alex and Susie Simonis.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.

3 weeks ago you became a great grandma again to a beautiful bouncing baby boy name Samual Dawayne Feller. I just wish you could be here to see your great grandchildren. We miss you and love you. We know that your looking down at us smiling.
