Richard W. McDermott
Richard W. McDermott, husband of Alice J. O'Brien McDermott of North Guilford, died Monday in Grace-New Haven Hospital. Mr. McDermott is survived by his wife, a daughter Mrs. William Von Winkle of East Lyme, a son Richard W. McDermott Jr., seven grandchildren, Linda, Lee, Donna, Nancy, Billy, Richard, and Michael ; his mother Mrs Catherine Maher McDermott, a sister, Mrs. Robert Gritzbach and seven brothers, Frank, Daniel, Lawrence, George, Joseph, Jerry and Bernard McDermott. The funeral will be held from Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 129 Dwight Street Thursday morning at 8:30 and in St. Rose's Church at 9 o'clock where a solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
