He built a large house on the north side of Minot which his obituary referred to as a "magnificent house". We now live in that house and while we think of it as just a regular house, a local realtor told me once for that time (1914) it was truly magnificent. It has a total of 3210 s.f. from the top to the basement.
We have searched and tried to find any Marsh relatives. We know they had three sons, William, George and Rolland but have been unsuccessful in locating any descendents. If they're out there, we'd love to meet them.
Mr. Marsh passed on from heart failure while at his restaurant on November 13, 1918 at about 61 years of age. We're trying to do our best to take care of that house he built 94 years ago.
