Minford Irwin Stuckey was born to Irwin Leo and Ethelda Minerva Livingston. He began his service in EM US NAVY World War on 17th Sept 1942. He was also a music teacher.
Minford had two half Brothers: Floyd Oliver & Howard Eugene Stuckey. Both his Brothers also served in the US Army with Floyd later becoming a Minister & Pastor.

Minford ''Min'' Irwin Stuckey of Mercer Island died Feb. 9, 2002, at Eastside Group Health Hospital in Redmond. He was 95. Born Sept. 15, 1906, in Wenatchee, he graduated from Ballard High School in Seattle in June 1925 and attended the University of Washington for two years. He and his wife, Dorothy Ross Stuckey, were married Dec. 10, 1933, on Mercer Island. In 1934 they moved to Grand Coulee, where he worked as an electrician on Grand Coulee Dam. Mr. Stuckey served
served in the Washington National Guard from 1929 to 1932 and in the Navy as an electrician's mate second class from 1942 to 1945. Mr. Stuckey owned Mercer Island Sales and Service from 1945 to 1995. He also worked for the Mercer Island School District for eight years during the 1960s. He retired from his electrical and plumbing business in the mid-1990s. Mr. Stuckey was a member of the Mercer Island Kiwanis Club and VFW Post 5780.
He attended Mercer Island Covenant Church.
Mr. Stuckey's greatest joy was his family, both immediate and extended, and he enjoyed music, especially violin and trumpet. In addition to his wife of 68 years, survivors include his sons Dan Stuckey of Olympia and John Stuckey of Mercer Island; his daughters Patty Buckingham of Seattle and Mary Larson of Hayward, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with a reception following at Mercer Island Covenant Church. Burial will be at Tahoma National Cemetery.
