Mr. Cox was on retirement from George's before it became Riche's. He lived alone since the death of his wife Anna Mae in 1958.
Survivors include a son; Kyle Cox, Amarillo, Texas, U.S. Navy; step-son Lloyd Rector, Knoxville, Tenn. and brother, Charles P. Cox, Morristown, Tenn.; sister, Mrs. W. J. (Helen) Wilson, Knoxville, Tenn. Three grandchildren, several neices and nephews and his aunt Mrs. Bertie (William) Cameron, Talbott, Tenn.
Services will be Mon., 2 p.m. at North Fifth Avenue Baptist Church. Rev. Sam Wilson and Paul Silvey officating.
Internment will be in Bookwalter Cemetery.
The body will lay in state one hour before the services. The family will recieve friends at McCarty's Sun. from 7 to 9 p.m.
