Mary Veronica "Daisy" is the daughter of Henry J. (John Henry) Taylor and Bridget Taylor (nee Thorpe).

Daisy married Charles Nelson (known as Nelson) Bishop on October 6, 1903, in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

Daisy and Nelson did not have children of their own. They raised Daisy's grandniece, Helen May Cable 1915-1987 as their own. Helen was the daughter of Clyde Alonzo Cable and Elizabeth Margaret Augenstein. Helen married first Clayton Dwight Osman 1910-1961; 2nd John Henry Crews 1902-1985.

Daisy was loved by her immediate family. She always had at least one dog as a pet. She was a devout Roman Catholic and attended Saint James Church in the West End of Pittsburgh, where she lived. After her husband's death in 1929, she took in boarders. She took care of her niece's, Merle (Cable) Ritson, young children after their mother died in 1943 until her own death.

Daisy died in the Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was buried July 31, 1944.
