Carrie W. was born in Baldwin Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of William and Catherine Abbott. She married Edward Benjamin Augenstein on September 6, 1915, in Castle Shannon, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

AUGENSTEIN--On Thursday, Feb. 14, 1985, Carrie; beloved wife of the late Edward B. Sr., mother of Elmer W., Vernon A., and the late Edward B. Jr., sister of Esther Feller; also survived by seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends and members of the Emmanuel Lutheran church may call at Laughlin`s, Castle Shannon, where services will be held on Sat. Feb 16 at 1 p.m. Family requests contributions to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Pine St., 15234. Visitations 2-4 and 7-9 Fri.; 11 til time of service on Sat.
