WESTMINSTER, CA - Garland C. Ayers, 77, of Westminster, CA, passed away Monday, April 26, 2010 from a brief illness.
Born in Pageton, he was the son of the late Wesley P. Ayers and Beatrice Cochran Ayers.
He retired from McDonnell-Douglas in California and served in the US Air Force.
Survivors include eight sisters and four brothers, Lorraine Pennington of Poway CA, Della Fearing of Perris, CA, Barbara Christian of El Cajon, CA, Agnes Hall of Archdale, NC, Edna Laverne Hall of Stoneville, NC, Dreama Armstrong, Sherry Ward, Karen Hopkins, Marvin Ayers, Jerry Ayers, James Ayers all of Eden, NC and Donald Ayers of Roanoke, VA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Resthaven Memorial Park, in Princeton with Rev. Larry Dyer officiating.
