At least 6 remains,one an infant. Believed to be 1500 plus years old,teeth were ground from chewing corn. The remains are in a box at the Thayer Police Station.Osage Nation will rebury in the future,as of June 2014.Again,as of August 2015. The remains were reinterred with a complete Osage Ceremony near the original site but far enough from Warm Fork River to be safe from flooding. Former Thayer Police Chief Bailey gave a great presentation at a Oregon County Historical Society meeting in 2015.
