Adam Crumlich was a Civil War veteran. He enlisted on February 27, 1865, Mustered in on March 8, 1865 and was discharged by General Order on August 24, 1865. Company K, 192nd Pa Infantry. Filed for Pension 13 Aug 1891. He lived his final years in the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mary A. and Daniel Bensel/Bentzel.
He was a carpenter by trade and built the little white frame house were they lived for his bride, Elizabeth Ann. This house still stands today, and was occupied by a descendant in 1950. Adam Crumlich also built many of the wood frame homes in the Siddonsburg/Lewisbery area.
