Thelma L. Bass passed away April 1, 2010 in OKC at the age of 92. Thelma was born August 4, 1917 in Remington, IN to Oscar and Lucinda Roe Dunkin. She has lived in OKC most all her life. She and her husband, Earl, owned Bass Manufacturing and Sales, making TV tables and garbage can holders. She worked in radiology at Children's Hospital for several years and was a foster grandparent at Millard Fillmore Elementary for 6 years. She was active in her church with young people and teaching Sunday school. She attended Agnew Baptist for many years and lately had been attending Knob Hill Baptist Church. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl E. Bass; brother, Jack; and sister, LaVerne Rayburn. She is survived by son, Philip Bass; 2 daughters, Sharon Newcomb and Linda Wright; brother, Harold Dunkin; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Monday April 5, 2010, at Knob Hill Baptist Church, with burial at 2:00 PM at the Rossville Cemetery in Wellston, OK.
