JB TYE WAS THE SON OF ALLIE AUGRY TYE AND GLADYS L TYE, HE WORKED AT PARKLAND HOSPITAL FOR 27 YEARS AND WAS RETIRED, HE RESIDED AT ROCKWALL NURSING HOME WHERE HE PASSED ON TO BE WITH OUR LORD, ALL 6 OF HIS CHILDREN WERE BY HIS SIDE,SEVERAL FRIENDS, AND NEPHEW PHILLIP TYE, AND GRANDCHILDREN. JB STARTED A TRAINING PROGRAM FOR THE BLIND IN DARKROOM RADIOLOGY DEVELOPMENT AT PARKLAND Hospital and Childrens Hospital of Dallas, He has TRAINED OVER 400 + STUDENTS,AND PLACED THEM IN GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES. IT WAS A BLESSING HAVING HIM IN OUR LIVES. Thank you God for sharing him with us.
HE IS SURVIVED BY BROTHERS: GEORGE TYE, AND CLARENCE TYE, AND SISTERS: DOROTHY, ELAINE, AND PEARL.
CHILDREN: MADONNA LEVERN(TYE)LOPEZ, JOE BOYD TYE, WILLIAM PRESTON (BILL) TYE, NENA LETRICE (TYE) LABELLE, DELANA JANELL (TYE) SALMONS, PATRICIA DEANN (TYE) RIGGS. 18 GRAND CHILDREN, AND 21 GREAT GRAND CHILDREN.

HE WAS NEVER ASHAMED OF NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE, AND ALWAYS MADE THE BEST OF THE SITUATION. HE WAS A SELF-SUFFICIENT AND SELF-MADE MAN AMONG MEN.
