Jack was a lifelong resident of Wichita, Kansas and attended North High, Wichita State and Kansas University. He managed Screen Process Printing Company/Mobile Ads, selling the company to Print Source and finishing his career there. He was a member of the Hebrew Congregation. He had a lifetime interest in languages, studying German, Turkish, Russian, Hebrew, Spanish, Laotian, Vietnamese, Cherokee, etc. Jack was an enthusiastic supporter of the Wichita Symphony and Music Theatre of Wichita. Much of his life was devoted to sponsoring refugees from Southeast Asia. He helped hundreds of people build a new life and become U.S. citizens. Jack volunteered at the Wichita Public Library, Genealogy Department, becoming a self-taught expert in the genealogy field. He successfully traced his family back to 1442 and helped many others with their research. Jack volunteered for many years at the Wichita Book and Art Fair, supporting the Wichita Art Museum. He enjoyed extensive travels, always interested in different peoples, their language and customs. His life was devoted to helping other people, especially young people with their education and goals.
