Summerville, June 30,1951., Arthue Flickner, 65, died at the Dorchester County Hospital today at about 3 a.m. after a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. tomorrow at the Summerville Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Wallace B. Edwards. Burial, direceted by parks funeral home,will be in Summerville Cemetery. Masionic rites will be conducted at graveside. A retired lead man at the Charleston Naval Shipyard.
Mr. Flickner was a native of Midland Mich. He was the son of the late Joseph David Flickner anr Mrs. Jennie Godfrey Flickner.He was a member of Summerville Masonic Lodge 234.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Etta Douglas Flickner, two sons; George M. Flickner of Jacksonville, Fla and Jesse Flickner of Dorchester Terrace; a daughter Mrs. R.M. Boulware of Johns Island, a sister Lavinia Flickner Judy Johnston Hutson. Nephews.,Grover Lee Johnston,Joseph David Johnston,Edna Jennie Johnston Myers,Arthur William Johnston and Virgil Johnston.
