Ralph Clayton Earles, Sr., 58, Borger, died at 11:09 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 1991 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Kansas City, Mo., he had been a Borger resident for 34 years. He was a mechanic for Phillips Petroleum Company, a member of VFW Post No. 1789, and a U.S. Navy veteran.

He married Sandye Roper Phillips July 16, 1978 in Amarillo.

Survivors include his wife of the home; three sons, Ralph Earles, Jr. and Kevin Earles, both of Borger; and John Earles of Fairfield, Calif.; two step-sons, Steve Phillips of Pampa; and Joe Mike Phillips of Borger; three daughters, Kathy Crawford, Loretta Hooks, and Vicky Cato, all of Borger; two step-daughters, Kathy Carr of Clint; Ranell Lester of Cleveland, Okla.; two sisters, Frankie Nelson of Raytown, Mo.; and Deonie Dudley of Bonner Springs, Kan.; 19 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter.

Funeral services for Ralph Clayton Earles, Sr., 58, Borger, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Art McAninch, pastor Fairlanes Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
