Gwendolyn Martin Barnett, age 59, of Cape Coral, Fl, formerly of Wayland, Ky, wife of James Barnett, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2005, in Cape Coral, Flordia. She was born November 02, 1945 in Wayland, Ky, the daughter of the late Reb Martin and Lucy Sherman Martin.
Survivors include here husband, James, two sons, Patrick (Terri) Barnett, Tampa, Fl, Stephen (Amy) Barnett, Atlanta, Ga, three brothers, Charles Ray Martin, Topmost, Ky, Paul Martin, Ohio, Wade Martin, Dema, Ky, two sisters, Joyce Ratliff, Pikeville, Ky, and Doris Welch, Maryland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Forrest Martin.
Funeral services for Gwendolyn Martin Barnett will be conducted Friday, June 17, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, Ky, with the Rev. Gene Strange officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitt Martin Cemetery, Dema, Ky, under the professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky. Visitation is from 6:00 p.m., till 8:00 p.m., Thursday here at the Funeral Home.
