To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the Heavens. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted.

EDDIE THOMAS LEACH, SR., son of the late Herman and Annie Leach was born September 26, 1922. He departed this life on August 3, 1997 at East Orange General Hospital in East Orange, NJ, following a lengthy illness.

EDDIE was married to the late Doris Lee of Smithfield, North Carolina. He was engaged in the partnership and membership with various Christian churches and continued to participate for as long as his health would allow.

He leaves to cherish his memory four daughters, Lillian Lee, Annette Leach (both of Smithfield, NC), Linda Faye Leach (Pikeville, NC)and Brenda Kaye Leach (Selma, NC); three sons, Eddie Leach, Jr. (Newark, NJ), Clifton and Sammie Leach (both of Maryland); a sister, Maggie Wells (Mt. Olive, NC); loving nieces and nephews; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; daughters and sons-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.

EDDIE was well loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

Today Dad is your 17th Memorial and it seems like yesterday. Missing you and wishing you another peaceful day in Paradise. You were the best Father-in-law and best friend anyone can have. I will never forget you.
