ACCOVILLE, WV — Jerry Henry Belcher, 68, of Accoville, left this world unexpectedly Saturday, August 15, 2009, of injuries received during a home invasion. Born March 18, 1941, at Accoville, he was a son of the late Henry Ward and Gladys Locey Belcher. Jerry was a retired coal miner and had attended the Man Church of the Nazarene at Man. Those left to cherish his memory include his twin brother, Mack Belcher of Accoville, with whom he made his home; two sisters, JoAnn (John) Avis of Kenova and Ruth (Billy) Graham of Dayton, OH; one niece, Kathy Graham of Dayton; two nephews, Johnny (Kathy Sue) Avis Jr. of Catlettsburg, KY and Billy (Kelly) Graham Jr. of Dayton; two great-nieces, Emily Autumn Graham and Jordan Avis; one great-nephew, Toby Graham, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held at noon Friday, August 21, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. James Kittle officiating. Burial will follow in Asbury Cemetery at East Lynn. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home of Man is in charge of the arrangements.
